LIFA on a Courtesy Visit to Space FM, Ibadan

This opportunity will give us a wonderful experience and time to reach farmers on our laudable initiatives.

Livestock Industry Foundation for Africa (LIFA) in her tireless devotion to propagate and expand her initiatives paid a courtesy visit to a leading indigenous social radio station; SPACE FM. LIFA’s team was led by the President and founder of the organization Dr Stephen Adejoro. The visit was timely and important for LIFA to solicit synergy at introducing her initiatives to the government and farmers, amongst which will manage the aftermath of climate change challenges on livestock food security in South Sahara Africa.

We were warmly received by the General Manager, Mr Deji OSIBOGUN, who took the team on a tour to see different sections of the radio station. The radio station is indeed an indigenous corporation, as respective studio rooms were named after prominent African icons such as Oduduwa, Fela, and Martin Luther king. The radio station also has collection of arts dated back to the seventies from the premier University, University of Ibadan’s Theatre Art.

Dr Stephen Adejoro was granted a short interview to express LIFA’s objectives and to equally advice farmers in the livestock industry. LIFA looks forward to the opportunity granted to her by the management of radio station to appear in a weekly Yoruba agricultural programme “Ere-Agbe” in the upcoming weeks. This opportunity will give us a wonderful experience and time to reach farmers on our laudable initiatives.

LIFA sincerely appreciate the interest of this radio station (Space FM) on the agricultural programme and her social responsibility scheme which is in support of sharing innovative knowledge on livestock Agriculture in Africa, particularly Nigeria. Livestock farmers are hereby encouraged to frequent us on this wide coverage radio station soon.
