LIFA Thanksgiving Gathering: Celebrating Progress, Partnership, and Purpose

On 22nd November, the Livestock Industry Foundation for Africa (LIFA) hosted a special thanksgiving gathering with friends, family, and team members to express gratitude to God for His guidance and faithfulness since the commencement of the LIFA knowledge-sharing programmes. The gathering reflected on the journey so far and acknowledged God’s mercy, protection, and direction throughout all LIFA activities—by road, air, and sea.

The event provided an opportunity to recognize divine support in the successful execution of LIFA programmes across different regions, as well as the lessons learned and milestones achieved along the way. It was a moment of reflection, appreciation, and renewed commitment to the Foundation’s mission of strengthening livestock productivity and food security in Africa.

During the gathering, the President of LIFA expressed heartfelt appreciation to the sponsors of LIFA programmes, dedicated team members, partners, and all individuals who have contributed—financially, technically, and morally—to the success of the Foundation’s initiatives. Staff members also shared personal experiences, testimonies from field engagements, and lessons learned during various programme trips, collectively giving thanks to God for the impact achieved so far.

A special session was dedicated to prayers and thanksgiving led by an invited Pastor and Imam, symbolizing unity, inclusiveness, and shared gratitude. Family members and friends in attendance commended LIFA’s work and acknowledged the positive impact of its programmes across communities. The gathering also served as a learning and bonding moment, with participants drawing inspiration from shared experiences and testimonies.

The thanksgiving gathering reaffirmed LIFA’s commitment to service, partnership, and continuous impact, as the Foundation looks forward to expanding its knowledge-sharing and capacity-building programmes across Africa.
